Today in math we reviewed for tomorrow’s Quiz 8.2.  Each student received a packet with questions very similar to the quiz to use for reviewing.  See the Quiz 8.2 review packet answer key.

I will be in my room before school tomorrow for any last minute questions.

Today we took the MCA online Practice test, not as a test, but just to get a chance to try out all the features.

Today in math, all the classes reviewed slope and learned about Y-intercept.  We used the graphing calculators to explore various y=mx + c equations.  The students completed a Slope y-intercept discovery worksheet which will be graded.  They used the Slope y-intercept how-to guide.  See today’s notes: March 28 notes

Homework: Bring in a pair of earphones (any kind) to use on tomorrow’s Practice MCA computer test.

Today was “Catch-Up” Day.  Each student with missing work was given a list of all missing assignments and any necessary worksheets, tests, quizzes, etc.  Late assignments are all corrected and updated in the Parent Portal.

Students who had no missing work or finished their work were given time to work on p. 407 (21-25) which is due tomorrow.  These students also had time to work on the MCA Practice Week 9 sheet which is due tomorrow.  See today’s notes: March 23 notes

Finally, after all other work was complete, students were allowed to go to studyisland.com to review and practice for the MCA tests which are coming up right after spring break!
